Strong authentication soft tokens (no hardware)
Why you should adopt multi-factor authentication
Multi-factor authentication replaces static passwords by one-time passwords (OTP) calculated on the fly based on a static PIN ("what I know") and on a unique factor owned by the user ("what I have").
Multi-factor authentication therefore allows:
- Not to store or transmit sensitive informations (PIN), to have one-time-use and insensitive passwords (OTP)
- To deny access to anyone who would have obtained the user's PIN (negligence, key-logging, guessing...)
- That online transactions cannot be disputed by users, as they cannot have been executed by third parties
In-Webo No-Hardware authentication tokens (soft tokens) for smartphones, tablets, PC/Mac, mobiles, etc., all implement a secured multi-factor authentication. The unique factor owned by the user consists in cryptographic keys dedicated to each user and each token. Security directly comes from the fact that these keys are dynamic, i.e. are constantly and randomly updated: this exclusive and patented innovation from In-Webo labs make authentication tokens insensitive to theft, reverse engineering, and cryptographic analysis.

InWebo application: secure and easy access from your computer
|
InWebo application is a desktop application and a strong authentication device. A user has access to her own sites or services by selecting them from a bookmark menu in the InWebo browser extension installed with the application. She is then prompted for the InWebo password she has associated with the application at the installation stage. That's all. InWebo application does everything else: displaying the site's web page, checking security parameters (phishing, Man-in-the-middle, html injection), calculating et inserting a one-time-password that will strongly authenticate the user for this site or service. InWebo application is subject to a patent about its security: it cannot be successfuly cloned nor executed by a malware that would have keylogged the user's PIN. |

InWebo application is available for Windows and Mac and proposes extensions for all popular web browsers. It is THE easy and secure authentication device to access online services or confirm sensitive transaction from one's computer(s). It can also be used by a contact centre to authenticate customers. InWebo nCode: secure and easy access from any computer
|
InWebo nCode is a mobile application and a strong authentication device. A user requests a one-time-password (OTP) for her own sites or services by selecting them from a list on nCode. She is then prompted for the PIN she has associated with nCode at the installation stage. InWebo nCode calculates and displays a one-time-password that strongly authenticates the user for this site or service. The user then enters the OTP in the site or service authentication form, instead of her usual password. That's all. InWebo nCode is subject of a patent about its security: it cannot be used to access the user's accounts, event after stealing the phone or copying the application. |
||
|
nCode is available for all popular smartphones (iPhone, Blackberry, Androïd, Windows Mobile), but also for most regular phones released since 2005 approximately. Generating an OTP with nCode does not require any network coverage, SMS or connexion. The OTP is instantaneously displayed and does not generate any cost. This is THE allways available, easy and secure authentication device for accessing one's sites or services from any computer, in particular 'public' computers where InWebo application has not been - and should not be - installed. InWebo mAccess: securing smart apps (mobile, tablets, ...)
The web browser is no longer the unique way to access online services and make transactions. A consistent security approach should lead to implementing measures that are independent of the chanels used by customers to interact with online services. InWebo mAccess is the optimized answer to this need. In most situations, InWebo nCode is already an option, however generating and copy-pasting an OTP into a "smart app" may prove complex for most users. InWebo mAccess makes this operation completely transparent to the user and is available for the popular smartphones' applications (iPhone, Blackberry, Androïd, Windows Mobile, etc.), but also for any other smart apps, be it on a tablet, a games console, a connected TV, ... or a computer.
